Black Leopards beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Two goals – one in each half – by 22-year-old Leopards midfielder Tiklas Thutlwa gave Lidoda Duvha the much-needed three points.
Thutlwa netted his first strike of the match when he cancelled Leonardo Castro’s 10th minute goal on the stroke of half time. Thutlwa completed his brace after he headed into the net in the 64th minute.
Leopards are still stuck at the bottom of the Premiership standings with 22 points from 28 games while Amakhosi have 30 points in 28 matches.
