Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt believes that they wouldn’t have lost to Black Leopards had they used their early chances.
Lidoda Duvha came from behind to beat Amakhosi 2-1 in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Leonardo Castro gave Chiefs the lead in the 10th minute only for them to give it away on the stroke of half time when Tiklas Thutlwa equalised for Leopards. Thutlwa completed his brace in the 64th minute.
“Good start, you know. We had a great chance to make it 2-0. They got the one before half time. We got to defend better. We didn’t defend better. We had a great chance. We had good couple of opportunities. They got the second one,” Hunt said.
Amakhosi, who are 11th on the Premiership table with 30 points from 28 matches, have two games against Lamontville Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy before they wrap up their season.
