Ryno ‘The Lion’ Liebenberg didn’t mince his words as he declared that he’s going to stop Russian boxer Fedor Chudinov whom he meets on Friday.
Liebenberg clashes with Chudinov in a World Boxing Association (WBA) Gold super-middleweight title fight at the Sibur Arena in St Petersburg, Russia.
“I expect it to be a hard fight. Fedor is a great champion. But I’ve given 10 years of my life to boxing. I plan to knock him out and take the belt to South Africa,” a confident Liebenberg said.
The former South African light-heavyweight champion goes into battle with Chudinov following a stoppage win over Rowan Campbell in March.
On the other hand, the 33-year-old Chudinov drew with Malawian boxer Isaac Chilemba in February.
