Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 2-0 in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Dr Petrus Rantlai Molemela Stadium Mangaung on Wednesday evening.
Namibian international Peter Shalulile netted a brace – a goal in each half – to give the Brazilians the win. Shalulile scored his 12th goal in the 11th minute and he headed in his 13th league strike in the 65th minute.
The former Highlands Park forward has now scored 17 goals in 29 games across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Black Leopards have been relegated from the DStv Premiership to the GladAfrica Championship following a 3-1 loss to Cape Town City at the Cape Town Stadium.
