Benni McCarthy is a little bit satisfied with how his team AmaZulu played during their 2-2 draw with neighbours Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, Durban, on Wednesday.
This was the first time Usuthu scored in four matches this season. Usuthu have now drawn three times and lost once since their DStv Premiership campaign started last month.
“I think it was very entertaining, but I think it was a missed opportunity for us, ” the Usuthu coach said.
“We played extremely well, we started the game really good, high tempo, good chances that we created. I really liked what I saw from the team, work ethic, the mentality.”
Usuthu, who are chasing their first win of the season, are now going to welcome Baroka FC at King’s Park in Durban on Saturday (15h00).
