Siphelele Mthembu would love to see his team AmaZulu registering their first win of the season as they face Baroka FC in a DStv Premiership match at the King’s Park Stadium in Durban on Saturday (15h00).

Usuthu are desperate for a win as they have drawn three times and lost once. They played to a 2-2 draw with their neighbours Lamontville Golden Arrows on Wednesday.

“The team spirit is there. We got the fight back energy we had last season. That was evident against Arrows. It’s unfortunate that we have not had good results,” the Usuthu striker said.

This is a very important match for AmaZulu, especially after Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele beat them in the second round last season.

“I think this is the right time that we get into a winning mentality. There’s no better time to get our revenge,” the 34-year-old Mthembu said.
