Maritzburg United coach Ernst Middendorp has admitted that Wednesday’s match against Marumo Gallants was not pleasing to the eye.
The Team of Choice beat Gallants 1-0 through a last minute goal by Frenchman Amadou Soukouna at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
“Definitely, not the game you would say you want to watch again. The quality was not in a way we would like to see,” the German remarked.
“But I did mention before the game that we had six new players in the starting 11. You can see the connection was not there.”
The KwaZulu-Natal Midlands team have won twice and lost twice this season. They are going to travel to the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville for a date with SuperSport United on Saturday (17h00).
