Veluyeke Zulu understands the position Chippa United are in as they are going to clash against Kaizer Chiefs in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday (17h30).
This encounter pits two teams that are desperate for points something which has made Zulu to believe that they have a tough battle in their hands.
“It’s not gonna be easy as they also want maximum points. I think whoever is better on the day will win the match. I don’t think we both want to lose. It’s gonna be a very difficult game,” Zulu remarked.
The former Richards Bay FC defender has won three man-of-the-match awards despite the Chilli Boys struggling to produce results.
And Zulu has given credit to his teammates for helping him win the awards in his first season at the Chilli Boys.
“All the man-of-the-match awards l received credit goes to the whole team,” the 26-year-old Zulu said.
Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys are 13th on the Premiership standings with five points. They have won once, drawn twice and lost three times.
On the other hand, Amakhosi are one place above the Gqeberha-based side with six points from the same number of games.
