Jemondre Dickens is still not over the manner in which he was shown the door at Baroka FC.
The Limpopo club released Dickens after he failed to report for preseason this year.
Now the Chippa United striker wants to make Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele pay heavily for releasing him.
Dickens also wants to impress Chilli Boys caretaker coach Kurt Lentjies, who was given the job after Gavin Hunt was suspended earlier this week.
“Well, he told us to be patient, to work as a team, to fight for each other because this is where we need each other the most,” Dickens said about Lentjies.
“Plus for me, it’s a big game. It’s against my former team and I want to prove that they made the wrong decision.”
The struggling Chilli Boys have not won a match in three months. They have one win, four draws and five losses.
“This is a very important game. And the is the first game we have to win after the international break. And if we win this one, we will go up,” the 23-year-old Dickens said.
