Table-topping Mamelodi Sundowns are going to have a hectic week as they play three matches between this Saturday and next week Saturday.

And the Brazilians’ co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi fully understands the difficult task at hand.

The Tshwane giants visit Stellenbosch FC at the Danie Craven Stadium in the Cape Winelands on Saturday. Then they host Royal AM at Loftus Versfeld on Wednesday and clash against SuperSport United in a Tshwane derby at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday.

“They are a very difficult team to break. Speed is what they are always looking for,” Mngqithi said referring to Stellies.

“After Stellenbosch, you have one day of travelling. Then we will have the next match. Games are going to come thick and fast. The number of games that are coming after this full week are going to be very hard for all of us.”

Sundowns players were given a two-day off after their 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United last Saturday. Mngqithi said that players were given time off in order for them to freshen up.

According to the former Lamontville Golden Arrows mentor, the players are going to be stuck with them during the festive season.

The Brazilians are still unbeaten having won nine times and drawn thrice while fourth-placed Stellies have five wins, six draws and two losses.
