The championship committee of the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) has granted formal sanction approval for the fight between champion Johnriel Casimero and Paul Butler.
The mandatory title fight between Casimero from the Philippines and Butler is going to take place in Liverpool, England, on 23 April.
The fight was due to have taken place at the Coca-Cola Dome in Dubai last month, but didn’t go ahead as Casimero had gastritis.
