Junior Makondo and his adversary Jacques Muvud from the Democratic Republic of Congo face off in a TLB Boxing Promotions tournament scheduled for the Kagiso Memorial Hall in Kagiso, Krugersdorp, on Sunday.
Makondo and Muvud will clash in a vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) All Africa middleweight title fight while Gauteng lightweight champion Khaya Busakwe, who failed in his bid to unseat South African title holder Tshifhiwa Munyai last year, defends his provincial crown against Talent Baloyi.
Meanwhile, South African female lightweight champion Kholosa Ndobayini from Qumbu in the Eastern Cape clashes with Zimbabwean Cecilia Pitiseni in an eight-round bout.
