Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena has praised hardworking midfielder Andile Jali for the contribution he has made to the Brazilians this season.
Mokwena praised Jali after he walked away with the man-of-the-match award when the Tshwane giants defeated Royal AM 2-1 in a Nedbank Cup semi-final match at the Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday evening.
“The performance has been indicative of the personality. Couple of years ago, they called him Napoleon, the dynamo. That’s why he shows his leadership qualities, his tenacity and his overall experience and ability to assist the team in difficult moments,” Mokwena remarked.
The 32-year-old Jali from Matatiele in the Eastern Cape has been an integral part of the Sundowns squad this season, dishing out brilliant performances in almost every game.
“We are very fortunate to have him and the entire group. AJ is just the reflection of the entire group,” Mokwena concluded.
