Siphesihle Sityo successfully defended his Eastern Cape minimumweight title following a unanimous decision win over Luyolo Mbobo from Sada at the Ncumisa Kondlo Hall in Peddie on Saturday.
Sityo from Duncan Village in East London was defending his title for the first time since he dethroned Phumlani Maloni in December last year.
Meanwhile, in a female bout Mdantsane-born Thobela Nyanda beat Yonelisa Poni from Cacadu by a second round technical knockout in the main supporting bout.
