Givemore Mudzinganyama from Zimbabwe romped home and won the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town on Saturday.
The Johannesburg-based Zimbabwean crossed the line in 3:19:56 ahead of South African athlete Dan Matshailwe, who came second in 3:10:19 and Nkosikhona Mhlakwana also from South Africa finished third in 3:10:40.
Meanwhile, South African Gerda Steyn won the women’s race for the fourth consecutive time when she crossed the line in 3:29:06 ahead of Ethiopian Amelework Bosho and third-placed Carla Molinaro from South Africa
