Kaizer Chiefs announced on Wednesday that they had come to an agreement with striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana to leave the Soweto side after only one season.
Bimenyimana featured 21 times (17 starts and four substitute appearances) scoring eight times in the process.
The 25-year-old Bimenyimana, who was born in Bujumbura, Burundi, is now free to join a team of his choice.
