Bernie Pailman, who is one of Team Nontshinga’s brains trust, has revealed that they have a plan as we get closer to Sivenathi ‘Special One’ Nontshinga’s world title defence against Mexican boxer Adrian Curiel Dominguez.

Pailman is going to be one of the most important figures in Nontshinga’s corner when the East London boxer clashes with Dominguez in the second defence of his International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-flyweight title at the Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco this coming Saturday.

“Everything is good. We always go with two plans. Plan A, plan B, if they don’t work, we will go to plan C. We will start with plan A and then see if there’s anything that needs to be adjusted. We might also change our plans after round four,” Pailman said.

The unbeaten Nontshinga is in Monaco together with his trainer Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan, his father Thembani Gopheni, Pailman and the boxer’s manager Siya Zingelwa.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Nontshinga made a successful first defence of his crown when he outpointed Regie ‘Filipino Phenom’ Suganob from the Philippines at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) four months ago.
