He was unfairly denied the Promoter of the Year award, which he deserved after promoting nine tournaments during the period under review at the time, now Sifiso Shongwe is coming back stronger in South African boxing.

Even though no one wanted to confirm it, Ink Sport can exclusively reveal that Shongwe is going to take over from Luthando Jack as chairperson of the BSA board.

The new BSA board, which will start its three-year term next month, is going to be announced by Minister of Sport Zizi Kodwa at a press briefing in Pretoria on Tuesday morning.

Kodwa’s announcement will bring to an end three years of incompetence and utter disregard of rules and regulations by BSA board members.
