Polokwane City stole a point from Mamelodi Sundowns as they held the Brazilians to a goalless draw in a DStv Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday evening.
Sundowns thought they had scored in the 72nd minute, but Namibian international Peter Shalulile’s goal was disallowed by match referee Akhona Makalima.
This was after Makalima picked up that Themba Zwane had fouled Bulelani Nikani before the ball went to Shalulile.
Meanwhile, this was the second successive goalless draw for the defending DStv Premiership champioms as they had the same result against Cape Town City last weekend.
