Lucky Hobyane is not beating about the bush as to what he’s coming to do in East London as he collides against South African champion Zolisa Batyi this coming Sunday.
The 32-year-old Hobyane from Malamulele in Limpopo challenges Batyi for his SA featherweight title at the Orient Theatre. And Hobyane strongly believes that the title is going to change hands on Sunday.
“I’m coming down to East London to take the title away from Batyi. Remember, Batyi won the title in Limpopo when he beat Jeff Magagane. The title is going back home to Limpopo on Sunday,” Hobyane remarked.
Normally, boxers who come to fight in East London become apprehensive as some boxing followers believe that visiting fighters get robbed at the coastal city. That’s, however, not the case with Hobyane as he’s brimming with confidence.
“I’m not afraid of fighting in the Eastern Cape. I believe in myself and I know what I’m going to do to Batyi. I’m going to put on a good show. Hopefully, Batyi is ready because I’m not coming to play there,” Hobyane concluded.
