Thabo September is raving about Chippa United’s Gadinkame Malebogo Modise’s consistent performances after the left-back picked up his third man-of-the-match award across all competitions.
Modise walked away with the man-of-the-match award after the Chilli Boys defeated TS Galaxy 2-0 in a Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Sunday afternoon.
“He’s good at his offensive work. We’ve been working on his defending. If you add those together, he becomes a good player. His defending was very good, I’m proud,” the Chilli Boys co-coach said.
“We know about his attacking. It’s good to see him working on his defending, growing with every game. He can only grow up from here.”
The 25-year-old Mahikeng-born Modise is on loan from defending DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
