East London boxing followers will watch their favourite pugilist and southpaw Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile at the Orient Theatre for the first time in more than two years as he returns to action at the venue next month.
The former South African featherweight champion and one-time world title contender meets Namibian boxer Sebastianus ‘Iron Fists’ Natanael at the famous East London venue on Sunday, 25 August.
Fuzile, who celebrated his 28th birthday recently, last fought at the Orient Theatre when he stopped Malawian boxer Romeo Makwakwa in the third round in July 2022.
Meanwhile, Oshikushashipya-born Natanael is a former World Boxing Association (WBA) Pan-African and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa featherweight champion.
The 33-year-old Natanael will be making his first trip to South Africa since he lost by a split decision to Sibusiso Zingange at the Carousel, Hammanskraal, in February 2019.
Natanael, who is now based in Windhoek, has won 17 fights with nine of those victories coming from stoppages and has lost four times.
