Irvin Khoza was elected unopposed as Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman and will serve his sixth term following elections, which took place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Wednesday afternoon.

The 76-year-old Orlando Pirates chairperson was first elected to the same position 21 years ago and will now be in charge until 2028.

Khoza is going to serve in the PSL executive together with his committee, which is made up of Kaizer Motaung, Mato Madlala, Tim Sukazi, Dr Rejoice Simelane, Sifiso Biyela, Stanley Matthews and Jonny Mogaladi.

Meanwhile, Cape Town City boss John Comitis, Black Leopards’ David Thidiela and Rob Benadie from Stellenbosch FC are out of the PSL executive committee.
