Betway Premiership log-leaders Orlando Pirates announced the strengthening of their strike force with the signjng of Andre de Jong on Monday morning.
The New Zealand international striker joined the Buccaneers from struggling Cape Winelands side Stellenbosch FC.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Andre de Jong,” a Pirates statement said.
The 29-year-old De Jong is a regular feature in the All Whites and might make it into their squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Meanwhile, De Jong joined Stellies from Royal AM in 2023. And before playing for Royal AM, De Jong was with AmaZulu in Durban.
