Namibian trainer Jose Kambinda wouldn’t mind returning to the Eastern Cape together with his boxer and World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Youth junior-lightweight champion Errikie ‘Shotgun’ Errikie.

Kambinda said this as he together with Errikie, a first year transport and logistics management student at the International University of Management (IUM) in Walvis Bay, Namibia, are still celebrating after the boxer’s fourth round stoppage win over previously unbeaten Mdantsane boxer Lonwabo ‘Monster’ Sizani at the Guild Theatre in KuGompo City on Saturday evening.

“We will definitely come back as long as there’s a challenger or someone who is willing to step into the ring with Shotgun. I heard that Azinga Fuzile will be fighting against Asanda Gingqi. I would love to get the winner of that fight to face Shotgun, who is still young and very talented,” Kambinda said.

After stopping Sizani, Walvis Bay-born Errikie, who is the first born in a family of eight children, improved his record to five victories with three stoppages and one loss. On the other hand, Sizani dropped to five wins with five knockouts and a defeat. – Monwabisi Jimlongo
