TS Galaxy coach Owen da Gama is happy after the Rockets drew 1-1 with Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday evening.
Masilakhe Phohlongo equalised for the Rockets after Bongani Sam had given the Buccaneers the lead.
“I thought it was a very tough match for us. Pirates are a superb team. Getting a point is marvellous for our team. I was happy with the structure,” Da Gama said.
“I have been here for two weeks. We are trying our best to get the cohesion. Credit to the boys, they fought until the end. We will keep working hard. There is still a long way to go.”
The Rockets have won one game, drawn once and lost one match since Da Gama took over.
Meanwhile, Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer is unhappy with the draw.
“We came good in the match, we scored. It’s not enough for us to get one point against Galaxy,” said Zinnbauer.
