Chippa United have beefed up their administration with the appointment of Khumbulani Konco as their new chief operations officer (COO).
The position has been vacant since Lukanyo Mzinzi’s elevation to club executive director in January. Konco spent decades at Bloemfontein Celtic both as general manager and chief executive officer.
The veteran administrator left then cash-strapped Phunya Sele Sele in March last year and was rumoured to be joining AmaZulu at the time. But those rumours turned out to be false.
