Former Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows goalkeeper Aubrey Mathibe, 41, has gone full circle and returned to Amakhosi.
Mathibe’s return to Amakhosi was announced by the club on Friday. Mathibe rejoined Chiefs as a goalkeeper coach and will work with both the reserves as well as the senior team.
The Kroonstad-born Mathibe joined Chiefs as a 19-year-old in 1999 and left them in 2006. Mathibe, who once played for AmaZulu, Thanda Royal Zulu and Black Leopards, has a level C coaching licence.
