Losing the CAF Champions League final to Wydad Athletic Club has forced Al Ahly to fire their coach Pitso Mosimane.
The Red Devils announced on Monday that their relationship with South Africa’s most decorated coach had come to an abrupt end.
The former Bafana Bafana coach joined the Egyptian giants in October 2020 and won two CAF Champions League trophies.
On top of that, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United mentor won two CAF Super Cup trophies and the Egypt Cup with the Red Devils.
The former Bafana Bafana coach won 65 matches, drew 22 and lost 10 times while in charge of Africa’s club of the century.
