Kaizer Chiefs have announced that they have terminated Kenyan player Anthony Akumu Agay’s contract.
The 29-year-old Kenyan-born midfielder joined Amakhosi from Zambian side Zesco United in January 2020.
“After initially putting him on the transfer list, Kaizer Chiefs and Anthony Akumu Agay have mutually agreed to an early termination of his contract. The contract was set to expire in June 2023,” a Chiefs statement said on Saturday evening.
The Kenyan scored two goals in 47 appearances in all competitions for the Naturena-based side.
