Morocco had a winning start beating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the opening match of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat on Saturday evening.
Morocco captain Ghizlane Chebbak scored the only goal of the match from a free kick in the 29th minute.
The hosts’ next match is against Uganda at the same Rabat venue on Tuesday evening.
