One of the most decorated footballers in South Africa Daine Klate has been appointed head coach of Chippa United.
Klate, a former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United left winger, guided the Chilli Boys Diski Challenge team to a fourth place finish last season.
“Chippa United is pleased to announce the appointment of Daine Klate as the head coach for the 2022/2023 season,” a Chilli Boys statement said on Monday.
The 37-year-old Klate, who was born in Gqeberha, is going to be assisted by Bruce July and Siyabulela Gwambi.
