Bafana Bafana defeated Botswana’s Zebras 2-1 to win the Cosafa Cup plate final at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, Durban on Sunday.
Antonio van Wyk opened the scoring in the 34th minute giving Bafana a 1-0 lead at half-time. Selaelo Rasebotja doubled the score when he made it 2-0 in the 80th minute.
Zebras’ Thato Kebue cut the deficit into half in added time. However, it was way too late as Bafana emerged 2-1 victors.
