Motsepe Foundation Championship side Uthongathi FC have set up a date with Royal AM in the KZN Premier’s Cup semi-finals at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.
This comes after the Cane Cutters defeted DStv Premiership side Maritzburg United 3-1 at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, on Saturday afternoon.
The Cane Cutters’ goals were scored by Mlungisi Khumalo, Fuzile Gcaba and Khethokuhle Mbutho while Tawanda Macheke netted for the Team of Choice.
Meanwhile, neighbours AmaZulu and Lamontville Golden Arrrows will face each other in the other semi-final encounter.
