Maritzburg United and Sekhukhune United drew 1-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg on Saturday evening.
Babina Noko were the first to score through former Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, who broke the deadlock in the 15th minute.
Bongani Sam, who was making his Team of Choice debut after signing from Pirates, equalised five minutes from full-time. Sam scored from a rebound after Babina Noko goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata had saved Bonginkosi Makume’s penalty.
