Substitutes Gabadinho Mhango and Bonginkosi Ntuli’s goals helped AmaZulu come from behind to beat SuperSport United 2-1 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday evening.

After trying for more than 50 minutes, Matsatsantsa a Pitori finally netted the first goal of the match through Thapelo Maseko. The 19-year-old Maseko sent a free kick, which bounced before beating Usuthu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa in the 56th minute.

Second half substitute Mhango, who was on the field for only five minutes after coming on for Siphesihle Maduna, equalised for AmaZulu in the 65th minute. The former Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits forward tapped in from a Riaan Hanamub cross.

Another second half substitute Ntuli, who replaced Sibusiso Magaqa on the hour mark, scored Usuthu’s winning goal in the 78th minute.
