TS Galaxy finally won a match against Mamelodi Sundowns as they beat them 1-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.
The Rockets caught the Brazilians on the counter and Lefa Hlongwane beat Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams to score for his side in the 35th minute.
This was the Rockets’ first ever win over the Tshwane giants after having failed to do so in four attempts.
The Rockets have now collected four points after drawing with AmaZulu on Sunday and Wednesday’s win.
On the other hand, the Brazilians have three points in two matches following last Friday’s 2-0 win over Cape Town City.
