Warriors all-rounder Marco Jansen has been included in the Proteas 15-man squad for the Twenty20 World Cup tournament in Australia.
The lanky 22-year-old Jansen replaces Dwaine Pretorius, who is out because of a fractured left thumb.
Titans’ Lizaad Williams has since replaced Jansen in the travelling Proteas’ reserves.
The Proteas are going to play two warm-up matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh before the tournament begins next week.
