Mamelodi Sundowns returned to the summit of the DStv Premiership table after a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.
Sphelele Mkhulise scored for the Tshwane giants in the 28th minute following a good move by Themba Zwane to take the Brazilians’ points tally to 22 from 10 matches.
Both Sundowns and Gallants had numerous chances during the game, however they failed to convert them.
The Brazilians had dropped to second place on the log after they were dislodged by SuperSport United who had beaten Stellenbosch FC 2-0 away on Tuesday evening.
