Banyana Banyana are going to be based in New Zealand during the group stages of next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup finals.
The World Cup tournament, which begins on 20 July until 20 August, is going to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The African champions face Sweden in their opening match at the Wellington Regional Stadium at 6am (South African time) on 23 July.
Five days later, they will then face South Americans Argentina in their second game at the Dunedin Stadium (1am, South African time). And they will conclude the group stages with a clash against Italy at the Wellington Regional Stadium on 2 August (8am, SA time).
