Former Orlando Pirates Lyle Foster has completed his move to English Championship log-leaders Burnley FC from Belgian side K.V.C. Westerlo.
Noorgesig-born Foster has become South Africa’s most expensive player with Burnley having paid $7 million (almost R120 millon)to Westerlo.
“Give a warm welcome to South African international Lyle Foster from Belgian side K.V.C. Westerlo,” a statement from Burnley said on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old striker has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract to remain at Turf Moor as he became the Clarets’ third signing of this January transfer window.
