The dream continues for amateur side Dondol Stars after they dumped AmaZulu 5-4 on penalties in a Nedbank Cup last-16 match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Wednesday evening.
The match was decided on spot kicks after the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League log-leaders and Usuthu drew 1-1 after two hours of football.
Pule Ekstein netted for the Durban-based Premier Division side in the 54th minute and Usuthu’s lead was cancelled when Dondol Stars defender Renaldo Fox equalised on the hour mark.
