Sekhukhune United are going to play against Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday, 27 May.
This followed after Babina Noko beat Stellenbosch FC 4-3 on penalties in a semi-final encounter at the Danie Craven Stadium in the Cape Winelands on Sunday evening.
The match was decided on penalties after it was forced to go to extra time following the two sides’ failure to score in regulation time. Both sides created goal scoring opportunities, but they failed to convert them into by goals.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers defeated their archrivals Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in a semi-final match played at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday.
