Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed the appointment of former Lions coach Wandile Gwavu as the fielding coach for the Proteas white-ball on Friday.
This appointment means that Gwavu from Langa in Cape Town has joined Rob Walter’s team permanently where he’s also going to work alongside batting coach JP Duminy.
The 36-year-old Gwavu performed the same duties during series matches against the West Indies and Netherlands earlier this year.
