An in-form Percy Tau was a catalyst in his team Al Ahly’s 3-0 thrashing of Esperance in a CAF Champions League semi-final first leg clash at Stade Olympic de Rades in Tunis, Tunisia, on Friday evening.
The Red Devils took an early lead through Bafana Bafana star Tau, formerly with Brighton and Hove Albion, in the eighth minute. The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward completed his brace 10 minutes into the second half with Mahmoud Kahraba netting the Red Devils’ third goal in the 75th minute.
The 10-time African champions take a massive advantange as the two sides are going to meet in the second leg in Cairo, Egypt, next weekend.
