Maritzburg United moved two places to 14th spot on the DStv Premiership table after they held Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Tuesday evening.
Midfielder Bradley Ralani chipped the ball over Team of Choice goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner to give the DStv Premiership champions the lead in the 24th minute.
The Team of Choice fought hard and didn’t give up when they were trailing and they qualised through Jose Ali Meza in the 71st minute. The former Sundowns forward had only been on the field for two minutes after he had replaced Karim Kimvuidi.
