DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that their coach Rulani Mokwena has signed a new four-year contract with them.
Mokwena’s decision to sign a new contract with the Brazilians ended weeks of speculation regarding whether he was going to remain at the Tshwane giants or not.
After being co-coach together with Manqoba Mngqithi since Pitso Mosimane’s departure for Al Ahly in October 2020, Mokwena was elevated to head coach last October and led the Brazilians to league championship glory last season.
