FIFA has hit KwaZulu-Natal Premier Division side Royal AM with a transfer ban effective from Monday, 3 July.
FIFA’s decision followed after Serbian striker Samir Nurkovic took Thwihli Thwahla to the world football governing body for failing to pay him. Thwihli Thwahla were found to have unlawfully terminated Nurkovic’s contract last year.
Royal AM are now banned from registering new players until they had paid the former Kaizer Chiefs forward about R12-million.
