Tshegofatso Mabasa came off the bench to score twice as Bafana Bafana fought back from a goal down to defeat eSwatini 2-1 in a 2023 COSAFA Cup Group A match at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Tuesday evening.
Bongwa Matsebula gave Sihlangu Semnikati the lead when he beat Bafana goalkeeper Jethren Barr six minutes into the second half.
Bafana forged ahead launching attack after attack in search of an equaliser, which came from Mabasa’s boot in the 77th minute. Mabasa completed his brace two minutes before full-time.
