Stellenbosch FC from the Cape Winelands confirmed the signing of talented defender Thabo Moloisane on a free transfer on Thursday morning.
The 24-year-old Maloisane was last on the books of relegated Maritzburg United where he played 27 matched during the 2022/23 season.
“Thabo Maloisane is a player with a lot of experience both at PSL and NFD level. He is a player who has shown his leadership qualities at every club he has played for. We also believe that he is an underrated footballer, who will flourish and develop into a really top centre back with us at the club, with added benefit of his versatility,” Stellies coach Steve Barker said.
Meanwhile, Maloisane is the second Stellies recruit in a space of 24 hours with the club having signed experienced goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke, who made his name at Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side Baroka FC.
